How To Use

The foundation of the Better Planner™ is the practice of defining and reaching your personal vision. The other principles for growth all integrate with and flow out of this essential step. As you develop and record the insights you receive from God and His design for your life, the Better Planner™ will lead you through a step-by-step process to become better.

Step One

Personal Vision

Develop a vision and plan for your life. Determine what’s most important, develop priorities and goals for each area of your life, be intentional with important relationships and discover more about your personality & spiritual gifts.

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

Step Two

13-Week Plan

Anticipate important dates and events and integrate them into your life 90 days in advance. Start with the most recent dates and work your way out.

Weekly Plan

Plan the week before it starts and be empowered to direct your week based on your priorities.  Integrate personal disciplines into your schedule like Sabbath Rest, Bible Study & Prayer, Small Group Meetings, Church Services & more. Develop a routine to start and end your day strong.

Step Four

Daily Plan

Make every minute count with zero minute planning and keep track of tasks for completion. Easily view two pages at once allowing you to transfer unfinished tasks to the next day.

Step Five

Weekly Reflection & Journaling

Learn & grow each week. Journal the highs, lows, regrets, wins or challenges of each day. Grade each week. Kick what doesn’t work, repeat what’s successful.

Step Six

Notes & Open Loops

Take notes throughout the day. Keep a log of actionable items from meetings to review and integrate into your weekly and daily plans.

Keep Track your Bible reading and determine 13-week personal prayer targets. Reference this section through out the week to track progress.
